Project Description
A vast development scheme on 2.5 million m2 sea reclaimed site to provide touristic facilities, residential districts, business zones, commercial areas, tank farms for oil & gas, public parks, yacht marinas, fishing port, total community facilities and complete infrastructure services.
The study of roads encompassed the following:
- Study of interface with external networks, both, existing and planned
- Study of internal traffic circulation.
- Study of external networks vs. Access links to LINORD.
- Study of local network within the site.
- Roads typical cross-sections.
- Preliminary design of interchanges connected to the coastal highway and railway road.

- Extensive geotechnical studies
