Project Description
This project covered an area of over 25 million of square meters.
The aims of the Master Plan were as follows:
- To study the environmental condition of the area after war (Natural resources, animals, plants...)
- To prepare cadastral maps for the area, including infrastructure environmental projects & management.
- To collect data concerning Army intervention for de-mining the area.
- To determine the elements of natural and architectural heritage to be preserved in the area under study.
- To define the characteristics of natural and manmade environment.
- To built up various scenarios about the future development of the area.
- To define development potentialities for each of these scenarios.
- To define measures for the protection and preservation of natural heritage.
