Project Description

 

The aims of the Master Plan and architectural coordination for the conservation & revitalization of the Notre Dame de l'Annonciation at Zoukak El Blatt were as follows:

• Develop a strategy to preserve the character and cultural heritage of an ancient Building, located in Zoukak El Blatt.
• Develop a strategy to create appropriate spaces for traditional handicrafts and activities for deaf.
• Investigate various options for development policy and identify land use strategies and floor space programs.
• Develop a restoration policy to preserve the cultural and historical image of the Church.
• Prepare detailed guidelines for the treatment and maintenance of Interior sacred spaces.
