Project Description
A vast development scheme on 2.5 million m sea reclaimed site to provide touristic facilities, residential districts, business zones, commercial areas, tank farms for oil & gas, public parks, yacht marinas, fishing port, total community facilities and complete infrastructure services.
In addition to over 3 Km length of Quay Walls and sea defenses, the main Land Use components of the project may thus be summarized as follows:
Residential Area
The residential zone of Linord Project is a differentiated development characterized by:
- Quiet exclusive neighborhoods: Low traffic, adequate underground parking; Courtyards, parks, playground; pure residential, no retail on the ground floor.
- Community facilities and services within walking distance.
- Variety of housing in a uniform style framework: Town houses; Apartment buildings; Beach apartments, connected to the Leisure & Commercial zone, the Marina and the District Park through a tree lined seaside promenade and the central landscaped pedestrian network.
- High quality environment: Modern and controlled development; Docklands with superb panoramic views over Beirut’s Central District, Jounieh and the Metn Mountains.
Leisure & Commercial Area
The leisure & commercial zone is located around the marina form together the largest commercial and recreational complex in the northern suburbs of Beirut City. The attractions and activities planned for this area will keep the community and visitors alike busy throughout the day and the night.
Tree Lined Seaside Promenade
Bordering the Mixed Use zone the promenade constitutes the main public attraction of Linord project. It provides about 2km of well-landscaped seaside pedestrian promenade to the benefit of Linord residents and visitors. Furthermore; it presents the main pedestrian link between the different zones of the project and the district park.
Marina
The Marina was designed for a capacity of over 500 yachts and sport boats. It forms the focus of the leisure and commercial zone of Linord project.
