Project Description

 

Development of a national strategy and implementation program for municipal waste management in Yemen so as to cover the following components:

 

• solid waste,
• toxic waste,
• Industrial waste including motor oil

 

The study also incorporated the undertaking of environmental assessment and appraisal of the proposed scheme as well as impact studies.

Preparation of complete design and procurement documents for landfill sites and collection routes for 8 major cities.
