Project Description

 

The project scope consists of design build and maintenance of the following components:-

 

• Canal Line approx (2.82km) including submarine line (250m in sea) and seawater pump station to pump out sea water through 630mm dia of HDPE pipeline to the Jumeirah Lake on the other side of Sheikh Zayed Road. This involves employing non destructive method including Horizontal Directional Drilling as well as microtunneling underneath Sheikh Zayed Road.

 

• Sewage Line approx (2.69km) including pump station to pump out received flow of sewage from Jumeirah Island villas project to the STP facility at the Gardens.

 

• Storm Water Line approx (3.10km) to link storm water pump station at the STP facility to the lake.

 

• Potable Water Pipeline: Provisional sum item included in the original tender for pumping out potable water to the lake but was later put on hold by NAKHEEL.

 

Consultancy Services

 

The services include the following main tasks:-

 

• Review / Approval of design proposals submitted by Contractor.
• Review / Approval of Contractor’s submittal (including material, program of work, shop drawing & construction methods).
• Construction Supervision
