Project Description

 

Feasibility study and detailed design for the implementation of efficient and economical sewerage system in terms of the collection, treatment and safe disposal of the wastewater and industrial discharges in Jbeil Caza.

The project is aimed for horizon year 2030 with a projected target population of around 225,000 and calls for:

• 14 Secondary Sewage Treatment Plants,
• 15 Pumping Stations,
• Pretreatment Works,
• Sea Outfall (to be covered under separate contract),
• 220 km Gravity & Pressure Sewers.

 

The main purpose of this project is to eliminate the risks of wastewater pollution from domestic / commercial areas in addition to industrial waste from 3-industrial areas and contribute to the safe-keeping of a clean environment as well as to enhance socio-economic development in the Caza of Jbeil.

 

Consultancy Services

 

Feasibility Study, Preliminary Design, Final Design, Tender Documents, Expropriation Files, Contract Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Socio-Economic / Financial Studies. The study also involved Demography, Projected Land Use, and Population Growth.
