Project Description

 

A major scheme intended to provide industrial and master planning and implementation of an industrial park for secondary industries at the Jubail Industrial City.

 

Extending over an area of 1400 hectares, the Park provides the infrastructure required to serve the industrial facilities and installations to be accommodated within the Park area. The industries include petrochemicals and petrochemical products, steel, aluminium, fertilizers, plastics etc.

 

The main elements of the infrastructure development include:

 

• Industrial planning, selection of candidate industries and physical park zoning, site arrangements and parcellations.
• Traffic circulation, road and highway networks
• Grading and stormwater drainage systems
• Potable water distribution and fire-fighting networks
• Seawater cooling supply and return systems
• Reclaimed water distribution network
• Sanitary sewerage network
• Industrial wastewater sewerage network
• Natural gas distribution system
• Materials handling and industrial solid waste disposal systems
• Refuse disposal systems
• Landscaping and irrigation
• Power distribution system
• Street and area lighting system
• Telecommunication system
• Public buildings and support facilities

 

Consultancy Services

 

Potential industries studies; preparation of studies on traffic and railroad use, industrial solid waste, materials handling systems, commercial and industrial port use; assessment of utility requirements; master planning, zoning and land use plans; preparation of building codes, regulations and restrictive covenants; geotechnical investigations and assessments; preparation of designs, drawings, tender documents and cost estimates for implementation of all infrastructure and public buildings of the Park.
