Project Description

 

This new library facility serves the two major institutions for higher education in Bahrain.

 

The library accommodates 2,000 users and provides storage for in excess of 330,000 volumes.  The three-storey structure is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including computer systems, visual displays, audio-visual aids, and microfilm/microfiche units.  It provides for group and individual study areas, lecture halls, research areas, storage/retrieval systems, administrative and office areas and other services.
