Project Description

 Several development packages including the following main elements:

  • Planning and design of new general aviation terminal and maintenance facilities for aircraft cleaner's vehicles at Gatwick Airport - London. Project Value $2m
  • Visual Control Tower - Structural and building services design for new stalk mounted VCR at Gatwick Airport, London. Associated Architects: McAlister, Armstrong and Partners. Project value $6m.
  • ATC for Civil Aviation Authority - Extension to Air Traffic Control Building at Gatwick Airport, London.
  • Administration Block - Planning studies, design and supervision of airport administration block including all electrical, mechanical and quantity surveying services. Project value $39m.
  • Gatwick Airport, Stage II - Feasibility studies, preparation of planning criteria and design brief for Stage 2 of Gatwick Airport, London. Subsequent design and construction supervision. Project value $50m.
  • Airport Maintenance - Organization and supervision of maintenance of Airport.
  • Telecommunication Systems - Planning, design and construction supervision of Telecommunications Engineering Establishment. Project value $11m.
  • Stage I Development, London, UK - Planning design and supervision of Stage I Development, including runway, taxiways, aprons, roads, terminal building, railway station, control tower and air cargo terminal, all associated electrical, mechanical and quantity surveying services. Project value $140m.
  • Feasibility study on viability of adding an extra storey to the support services building of the Gatwick Control Tower and connecting into the tower. Project value: $2m. Completed 1999.
