Project Description
A major sewage disposal scheme intended to serve the southern and eastern regions of Greater Beirut with a population of 1,200,000.
The scheme provides for pretreatment and disposal of wastewater into the Mediterranean through a sea outfall.
The main elements of the project include: • Pretreatment works involving screening, degritting and oil removal. • Pumping facilities. • Rehabilitation of sea outfall (dia. 1200 mm x 2250 m) with multiple diffusion nozzles at 60m below sea water level.
Consultancy Services
Preparation and conducting of all requisite Studies, Analysis and Surveys, Preliminary Design, Final Designs, Tender & Contract Documents For 2 Separate Packages namely The Pre-Treatment Works and The Sea Outfall. Bids Evaluation, Construction Supervision, Inspection and Testing of Equipment, and Installation and Operation and monitoring programme. |
