Location: Yanbu, Saudi Arabia Client: Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu Consultants: Associated Consulting Engineers (ACE) Construction Cost: 90 Million US Dollars Project Description A major project intended to provide master planning and implementation of an industrial park for support industries at the Yanbu Industrial City. Extending over an area of 400 hectares, the Park provides the infrastructure required to serve the industrial facilities and installations to be accommodated within the Park area. The main elements of the infrastructure development include: • Industrial planning, selection of candidate industries and physical park zoning, site arrangements and parcellations. • Traffic circulation and road networks • Grading and stormwater drainage systems • Potable water distribution and fire-fighting networks • Sanitary sewerage network • Industrial wastewater sewerage network • Refuse disposal systems • Landscaping and irrigation water distribution systems • Power distribution systems • Street and area lighting systems • Telecommunications conduit systems Consultancy Services Selection of candidate industries; industrial and physical planning, assessment of utility requirements; site layout and parcellation; development of restrictive covenants to control industrial implementation; designs; preparation of tender documents; and construction support services.
