Location: Doha, Qatar Client: Ministry of Public Health Consultants: Associated Consulting Engineers (ACE) in Association with Page Southerland & Page - PSP Construction Cost: 45 Million USD Project Description The project involved the master planning, feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design, tender documentation, tendering, supervision of construction and contract management for a 500 bed general hospital offering all medical services, being the principal hospital in the country. The hospital consisted of 6 floors. The principal services covered included: • General surgery, intensive care and podiatry • Dialyses, orthopedic, ECG, MRI, ophthalmology • Psychiatry, physiotherapy, radiology, pathology • Advanced fractures and burns treatment center Consultancy Services The involved the development of a detailed physical master plan covering the site, elaboration of several concept plan alternatives, detailed design of all buildings and annexes, supervision of construction and contract management.
