A major sporting and recreational urban development over a gross land area of around 40,000 sq. Meters and an overall gross built-up floor area of around 35,000 sq. Meters. The project site is at the heart of the eastern suburbs of the city of Beirut and is intended as a prestigious urban landmark.
The proposed development consists of two major components:
- Indoors Sports Complex which included the following facilities: • Main entrance hall • Administration • Amphitheater • Indoor games court and stands for 2,000 seated spectators • Conference rooms • Gymnasiums • Showers and locker rooms • Ancillary support and janitorial facilities.
- Football Stadium for 6,000 spectator seats of which 1,000 are covered and incorporating the following amenities:
• 8,400 sq meters sodded football court • 2,400 sq meters jogging track • WC's, shower and locker rooms • Access roads and parking for 300 vehicles • Green and landscaped open spaces and gardens.
Consultancy Services
The study involved preparation of a detailed master plan, elaboration of concept plan alternatives, detailed design and engineering, preparation of tendering documents, tendering, supervision of construction and contract management.
