Location: Basra, Iraq Client: Mercury Development Consultants: Associated Consulting Engineers Project Description On July 2012, Mercury Development, Beirut, sub-contracted several design aspects of the Petrofac Compound, Iraq, to Associated Consulting Engineers (ACE). This massive compound, located in Basra, Iraq, consists of 12 facilities including: • Office buildings • Mosque • Canteen • Clinic • Sports facility The design works are comprised of the followings: • Architectural design of the buildings • Structural Design of the buildings • Electromechanical design for the buidlings • Soft and hard landscaping works • Roads and associated infrastructure utilities Consultancy Services The services include the preliminary and detailed design of the Petrofac Iraq Base located in Basra, Iraq. The project encompassed the following main disciplines: • Architectural design • Structural engineering • Landscaping design
