Project Description

Master planning, detailed design, supervision and project management of a 500-bed hospital and medical complex on a 335 hectares site at Al Hassa, which fulfils the medical needs and expectations of a modern community. This community is self sufficient in terms of social amenities, education and utilities. Each of the two family housing groups incorporated in the scheme contains its own Local Center and is served by the Neighborhood Center and the Intermediate and Secondary Schools.

In addition, the project included the following:

• Formulation and evaluation of Land-use concept plan alternatives and nomination of a preferred scheme.
• Detailed design of all roads and circulation as well as all infrastructure networks including: water supply and distribution;
irrigation and fire fighting; surface drainage and wastewater; electricity, .telecommunications, security and CATV.
• Detailed design of the hospital complex as well as 576 villas; over 2,100 apartment and studios; 2 KG, 4 Primary,
2 Intermediate and 2 Secondary Schools; 2 Local Centers; 1 Neighborhood Center; all ancillary support facilities including
recreational and sports areas, Fire and Gas Stations.
